Can you use Hi8 video cassettes to record with in Digital8 Camcorders?

Yes, Hi8mm Video cassettes are recommended by the manufactures of Digital8 camcorders for use in their Digital8 camcorders. However, the record time will be shorter with Hi8mm cassettes. For example, a P6-120 (2 hour) Hi8mm cassette will only record 60 minutes in SP mode or 90 minutes in LP mode when used in Digital8 camcorders. Hi8mm video cassettes will record in both Digital8 and Hi8mm camcorders.
